Aren't pets just the best?
While owning a pet might not be for everybody, there’s no denying that for animal lovers, there’s something truly amazing about having your own furry friend.
Whether its a cat, dog, or something more exotic...
Many folks are quick to proudly boast our pets online.
But it's a task that's much easier said than done.
Getting your pet to take a seat still for long enough to urge that perfect Instagram snap is sort of a troublesome endeavor.
Kathy Smith, who rescues and cares for pets and other wildlife in need, is that the proud owner of a whopping 8 dogs and 9 cats – a hefty brood which she somehow managed to urge to pose for an adorable family (paw)trait.
It's the quite thing most other pet owners only dream of.
We can’t begin to imagine how long it must have taken to urge all seventeen of her pets to behave themselves and appearance at the camera…
The accomplishment was faraway from plane sailing. In fact, Kathy spent a whole 2 weeks trying to urge the right picture.
“I was so thrilled once I realized I’d captured this shot – it’s sort of a little family photo,” she gushed.
“I love all of my pets such a lot so I used to be really happy once I managed to urge all of them posing together – despite it not being easy to try to to.”
While the dogs were pretty happy to oblige, it seems her 9 cats weren’t quite up to scratch (see what we did there).
“The dogs will all sit for treats so that was easy enough, but the cats were another matter.”
“I now know the important meaning behind herding cats – I had to only keep picking them up and putting them back until they stayed.”
Numerous warm-up photos show the eight well-behaved pooches looking camera ready...
Kathy bribed pooches Ruby, Ben, Max, Sheba, Teddy, Rio, Storm, and Misha to take a seat with a couple of treats. Of course.
This family portrait is utterly heart-melting.
